This shouldn’t make me happy, but it shows that plot driven storytelling does not lead to a consistent increase in viewers. When the ‘plot’ is over, people tune out.

There’s more happy to come, wait until those little old ladies find out Victor ain’t coming back. There will be plenty more happy to go around. I have a 2005 Caymus Cabernet lying in wait for when I unpack the last of my boxes and Y&R hits the 2.9 it deserves!
I agree. A lot of the fans online are like the show will go on blah blah but when the ladies at the home get wind of this…boy, watch out because they are going to put on their compression knee highs, get themselves a group rate w/ the red hatters for a charter bus to SoCal so they can throw jello molds at all the no good young folk with their itsy bitsy salaries ! lol 4 real, it ain’t going to be pretty. Hey, did ya’ll notice that Eva the Diva is going to have a reality show on TV One ? Sista girl is workin’ that Top Model fame uh ?
I didn’t hear this about Eva. She had 25,000 Twitter followers when last I saw, I haven’t seen anyone on cast with that many. I can’t see them giving anyone except VR or EB their own reality show on the current Y&R cast. Crazy how easily they discard their chance to expand, but simultaneously discard their vets. It’s really surprising to me and I don’t get their strategy, unless their strategy is to let the soaps go down the drain.
Thats it Moni. I’ve thought for awhile now that the reason cbs may have hired hacks like pr and Hogie is because they want out of the soap business. This way the ratings will get so low the higherups will have a reason to axe the show. With PR incharge you can bet something wicked this way comes.
I liked Eva, but the character was terrible and tiic knows it. Taytana Ali was great and fans liked her, but got rid of her quickly too just like all the black actors, LOL. They really wants this show to be gone.
Look, I just think that Eva the Diva is better suited for reality tv. She has a great personality but something happens when a script gets in her hands. Maybe she can be the black Lauren Conrad, who knows ? BUT Tatayana was already a well-known fan fave before she ever stepped foot on YR, yes, bigger than Eva the Diva okay ! And homegirl knows how to throwdowd. Her break-up scene w/ Devon anyone ? BTW, we need some stunning mahogany brothas and sistas on the show like Ms.Ali, JMO ! On that note, PLEASE bring back Gil, he was so smooth !
