Once CC's memorial is over and Nikki and Victor "go on vacation," my guess, it's lights out Y&R. And if it's not, which I'm leaving that door open, it would seem to me that there is a large audience out there that doesn't care to see Black people (or any poc, for that matter) on their soap, doesn't care that all the women on this show are pathetic, and doesn't care that there has been no character development for almost every character on Y&R since the beginning of MAB's tenure.
