In Other News, Sharon Case Is Starring in A Hallmark Channel Movie
While her Y&R character is involved in one of the most idiotic stories currently on daytime (see, this post), Sharon Case has nabbed herself a starring role in Man of the House, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie. Co-starring former JAG star, David James Elliott, Man of the House is,
about a workaholic ad agency executive who has lost his wife and is then fired from his job. He soon becomes a full-time Mr. Mom and begins to realize what he has been missing by not balancing his career and family life
Sharon will play Miss Jenson, the teacher of Mr. Mom’s son, Dylan, with whom Mr. Mom will share an instant attraction. The movie is set to make its small screen debut on the Hallmark Channel in 2010.

I am thrilled for SC and hope that she is certainly positioning herself for some better work. What she has gotten the last year is utter crap and what the character Sharon has gotten is dumped on and shafted for the last 4 years! Enough w/Sharon always getting the short end of the stick while other characters *cough-cough* phyllis get the house, career, healthy babies and husband. I would love to see Sharon Case nab a great gig on a prime time drama. She is way too talented to be wasted on what is now a sinking ship.
great, the one character on Y&R who doesn’t need more screen time gets it. Congrats anyway, maybe she’ll be a strong woman this time.

I can’t be mad at her tho…..after the bs s/l she’s had to work and will continue to work with, I’d be settin up a side hustle too. The things is, how much a great actress is she? I know that it’s just a made-for-tv movie but can she carry a show? *sighs* Whatever! Girl get yo ends where you can!

Sharon Case is a fantastic actress. I’m sure she’ll be great in this movie. In terms of Y&R she might have one of the dumbest storylines in a long time, but at least she’s front and center. She is just great at Sharon Newman Abbott!
I’m thrilled to see her take on this role. I love her in the Young and the Restless although, how they portrayed her poorly – she is still a great actress!
