  1. Gene says:

Who the heck is watching Y&R? I tune in and it is bad. The show needs new writers and executive producer.

  2. wicked says:

Oh come on Maboogie and Co. I know you can get that 2.9. Come on Maboogie lets go….come on Maboogie lets go *clap clap clap*

  3. Kare says:

Wicked, Crystal…are you both okay? ;)

M, I was expecting lower as well but it’s still the same crappy ratings that have been plaguing Y&R all summer so no real surprises there.

  4. Gene says:

I am hoping that it goes to a 2.9 so that it will make Sony make some behind the scene changes with Maboog and Co pink slips and Ed Scott or David Shagnessey and Sally Sussman Morina and Jack Smith as head writers because the show is just unbearable to watch.

  5. Gene says:

Also, love the SC. Tbey are the only thing just good that make me want to watch the show because I can’t wait for the next SCs.

  6. wicked says:

Kate idk I think I had a little too much wine lmao. Gene- I would flove it if sally jack smith, ed scott and all the other legacy writters came back. I sometimes wonder if the 11 am time slot is what keeps this show #1.

  7. Otter1 says:

Well, now they’re reporting that Ellen Wheeler has just been hired on as a producer!

Idk what they are thinking. EW presided over GL’s death! So, first Roach and Hogie, now Y&R is going to be run over by Ms. Wheeler!!!!

With such bad decision making — this show deserves to hit a 2.9!!!!

I can’t wait until BnB beats them. What’s sad is that BnB is equally bad!

  8. wicked says:

Didn’t Ellen say she was to blame for GL being axed? This makes zero sense. No other network will take her but why would cbs keep her?!
