DB Awards 2009! Winners Announced.
Y&R was majorly snubbed at this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards – which comes as a shock to absolutely no one – so we at DT & DST decided to “honour” Y&R ourselves with the first ever DB Awards. Thanks to your votes we awarded the best and the worst of the show we love to hate, including Best Quad, Fanwanker of the Year and Worst Storyline.

As for Lilliam winning best couple, after I recalled the survey had been posted all over the net and found out the numbers, I realized what a feat that was. Pretty good stuff.

I cannot believe Lilliam won for best couple! That poll went out beyond Unwritten Symphony members. I’m shocked, but I flove it!!!!! Love Lilliam and who they were becoming!
I listened in to the DST show on Sunday and just had to say that I thought you all were awesome. I was really impressed.
Well, we know that Y&R has been renewed for two more years. Hopefully, it will get better and we’ll hear you all again next year!

Re: Boring character. I would normally say Boretoria but I think Chance has taken her place. My God, he’s dull and I had such hopes for him.
I know right, guys, that poll went out to folks in Europe (England, Poland, Germany, Italy). And, the last day, almost 60 folks from Chilly’s universe stormed the poll which led to some interesting results, but they weren’t enough to overtake Lilliam, they just tied with Lane. Go figure, folks are starting to see the benefits of Lilliam! Now if only Chevon could get off the ground!

I did not even bother watching the Shmemmys most of the actors wore things from their closets. I’m very happy Lilliam won even though they’ve been over since February. I have thought there were more of US since the online community is only 2% of soap watchers. Hoagie looks like Norm from Cheers

This was so funny and I agree with 90%, I won’t go into discussion about what I don’t agree with but whoever did this, did an excellent job. I wish you could have pointed out how “Det Chance” is being overly pimp now more than anyone of the newbies.
Wish the Marie Bell and her cronies could see this. At least they would know what some of the fans think of this mess they have created.

Aww Kare, this was such a treat, thank you. I laughed through the entire thing, and I already knew who the winner were. I’m still shocked that Lilliam won best couple and Bac got worst couple. I just KNEW that Chilly would get that destinction, but on further obsevation, I have to admit that Bac really is the worst couple.

Liliam Fans are so Sorry it’s sad.
I never thought I would say this but I would give my left foot to watch Lillam (which lasted for about 5 mintues and involved running around a bookstore and rolling on the floor at Jabot) if it meant that the insanity that is Bac would stop NOW !
