2009 Daytime Emmys – Elizabeth Hendrickson
So I know I’ll probably get tarred and feathered for this, but of all the ladies of Y&R, Elizabeth Hendrickson had my favorite Daytime Emmy Awards red carpet look. Sure, her top might be a tad bit overwhelming for her petite frame, but other than that, I love the look. In a sea of gowns and dresses, Elizabeth stands out in this belted jacket paired with shorts number. And her black satin pumps? They’re to die for. I think what wins this for me, is just how different it is. Elizabeth took a risk, and personally, I think it paid off, but I’m sure there are those who will disagree. Just like with her Y&R alter ego, Chloe Mitchell, you’ll either love it, or hate it, LOL.

It looks like EH came to the Emmy’s dressed as Kate, I guess this confirms she’s playing herself on Y&R, extra jewelry and all.
I like this from a distance, but up close, her biker shorts look too much like biker shorts. A cute pair of hot pants, that had more suitable fabric, would have been flawless, but nobody’s perfect. It’s still a great look.
I thought it was a cute look and EH is beautiful but…not for the Emmys. Cocktail dresses are one thing but that was just way to informal for the show!
I have to say I love her outfit. EH looks absolutely gorgeous in it. I agree with her others that it was too casual for the Emmys.
I voted HOT because she looked so great. Next year though I hope her outfit choice improves…
Not at all. I see why you’d like it. I voted Hot because I see where she was going with it and it’s more good than bad. The shoulders of the top is too much for her frame though and the biker shorts are terrible – Moni you’re right a pair of hot pants in a more suitable fabric would have worked better with the look. (And she’s totally dressed like Kate!)
I love, love, love the heels and her makeup and hair look great.

She’s way too thin for so much fabric on top and the shorts just enhance her bony frame…That’s not petite, LOL, that is bony.

I see she was going for edgy but to be honest her outfit reminds me of Kates anbd sometimes she dresses like a hooker. She did know this was the Emmys and not a club on south beach right?

I voted “not” really because 1) it is too casual, 2) there is too much fabric for her tiny frame and 3) because she looks like she paired the oversized shirt with shiney spandex biker shorts!
It looks like she’s going to a sexed up funeral. Moreover, this is EXACTLY how Woe dresses!!!!! Sigh…
I think the the idea is good, but the execution is problematic!
