Y&R Recap. Friday, July 24th 2009

Chance, Kate and Kay are enjoying some quality time at CL. Chance/P4 tells Kay and Kate that he came back because he didn’t want to miss any more time with his loved ones. Not on that list? The smirking dad who just walked through the door. P3’s all, “Dude! Got any deets you wanna ask me over a brew?” And P4s all, “Good evening sir. I am afraid that I am otherwise engaged at the moment. Should I wish to inquire about your person, I shall converse with my mater. Good day.”

Kay takes P3 aside and explains to His Royal Cluelessness that he needs to back off right now because no one can forgive him for what he did. Her job now done, she heads off to see Lily at the hospital. P3, however, doesn’t take the hint until Chance tells him in no uncertain terms that he doesn’t know him or want to know him. P3’s all, “Chaaaa…” and peaces out.

Now that the old folks are out of the way, Kate and P4 have some alone time where they discuss her history with Billy and Chance talks about how he’s never had a girlfriend or had sex with a girl and … how he’s not gay. Kate’s face says it all…

The thing is, P4’s waiting for the right girl to come along and look who is staring him right in the face. Kate! Wait a second, that doesn’t sound right … The conversation somehow gets to kissing and she tells him that maybe he hasn’t been kissed by the right girl. He disagrees but she’s like, “Umm actually,” and plants one on him. You know what this is y’all? Phate.

Over at Danielle’s current pad, he is telling Jana that he doesn’t know who would want to do this to him but as long as Amber’s by his side, he’ll get through this. Once he gets out of prison, he and Amber will get married … Cue Deacon and Amber sharing a friendly phone call about their impending sexual encounter. Amber heads over to CL and kind of sort of gets advice from Kevin who wants her to stop whatever she plans on doing.

Realizing that she needs more convincing Amber goes to visit Daniel in prison and he tells her that he wants to be with her forever. Til death do them part and all that. Somehow this convinces Amber to have sex with Deacon.

And Deacon’s ready for some loving. He tells Amber to put on some lingerie and while she’s doing it he calls Danielle impersonating as Mikey and puts the receiver in a glass of water so that Danny boy can hear all the fun.

And that he does…

Meanwhile, Kneel’s staring at the empty bed where Lily should be and wondering where in the holy hell his sick daughter is …

Over at Jimmy’s, Billy watches Lily and Ethan as they hug their cares away and realizes that he’s a lover not a fighter and calls Mac to meet him at their trailer of love. He leaves and Ethan and Lily talk. Lily informs Ethan of the situation and tells him that she always wanted a big family. Her dream is to have Dru live on through her children and if she can’t have a biological child then her dream dies as well.

Ethan tells her that he understands what she’s saying but she has to save herself first. Lily wants to know why she can’t have both the dream and her life. Why? Because you’re a soap character on Y&R, Lily. She tells him that she could love a baby that wasn’t hers (why her family practically invented it!) but she still wants to save her eggs. Ethan tells her that she has to go back and Lily, having no other choice, goes back to the hospital to have the surgery.

After dropping her off at the hospital, Ethan goes back to Jimmy’s where P3 is hanging out. Kay finds them both there and not only apologizes for the way she treated Ethan but says something crazy about wanting him to stay. Et tu, Kay?

But in more absolutely brutal news, Olivia comes out of surgery and tells Kneel they had to remove everything. While I’m sure an egg or two will be saved this is ridiculous but I’m honestly too tired to rant about it.

At the trailer o’ love, Billy is apologizing to Mac for being an ass or whatever because he’s waited six years to make love to her on a lime green futon in a trailer. Ahhh Romance. He plays their very terrible singing, puts her prom queen crown on her head and they look through their scrapbook of memories. They’re not living in the past at all.

And now it’s the moment of the truth. Cell phone off, lights off, sexy time!
