I have dubbed this episode CSI: Genoa City. With all these mysteries to be solved, someone has to be on the case. Fortunately, the citizens of Genoa City have three very talently detectives, Nikki “Nosey” Newman, Paul “Can’t Solve a Case” Williams, and Howard Aucker “GC Ranger.”
Aucker “GC Ranger” was hot on the trail of the “Art Murder, Death, Kill” case. The star of this investigation, Daniel Romalatti, held a meeting with the other members of his crime family to discuss the status of his situation. In order to make the meeting all the more official, it had to be held in the dark. We all know that a crime family meeting ain’t a crime family meeting unless it is held in the dark.
So anyway, Daniel explained that he went to the alley behind Jimmy’s Bar to get his painting back because he did not want a forgery to ruin his name in the art world and that in the process a man ended up dead and he still didn’t get his painting back. Amber was ready to ride out with her man and skip town. However, the gang decided to go somewhere a little more plot worthy to figure out their next move. As they attempted to bounce from the apartment, Aucker “GC Ranger” was waiting for them on the other side of the door.
It did not take Aucker “GC Ranger” long to start busting heads. That’s just how he rolls. First, he wanted to know about Daniel’s whereabouts. Of course Daniel lies. Way to go Daniel. I just hope that you can keep the lie alive. The detective senses of Aucker “GC Ranger” began to tingle so he hit the Scoobsters with two to the body and one to the head. Aucker “GC Ranger” tells the Scoobsters that Vicki Newman was injured in the alley behind Jimmy’s Bar and that a man was murdered as well. Because Danny Boy didn’t ask who was murdered, the detective skills of Aucker “GC Ranger” started to kick in even more. According to Aucker “GC Ranger,” after learning of a murder a person should want to know who was killed unless the person already knows who was murdered because he or she was present at the crime scene. Danny Boy was obviously shook. With Danny Boy caught up in the matrix, Aucker “GC Ranger” drops a pic of the murder victim.
Dannny Boy explains that the man in the pic was the man that he first met and thought was Agent Aucker. The “GC Ranger” sized up the Scoobsters before chuncking duece and heading to the hospital. The witness, Vicki Newman, had to be questioned.
With Aucker out the picture, the Scoobsters tried to figure out their next move. Amber wanted to skip town. Now, how long has it been since she received a parton from the governer? This girl really has her mind set on being a career outlaw, a terrible one at that. Anyway, Daniel decided that the best thing to do would be to come clean to the agent.
At the hospital, JT waited for news about the status of his ball carrier, I mean his wife, I mean Vicki Newman. While he was waiting, Nikki “Nosey” Newman showed up. JT got Nikki up to speed on what happened to Vikki and of course Nikki had to call Victor.
As soon as Vicki got to her hosital room, Aucker “GC Ranger” was all over the witness.
Unfortunately, Vicki did not remember a thing. Those boxes sho nuff did a number on her. Her face was all jacked up. At least we don’t have to look at her layed up in a bed for months on end waiting to be kissed by her prince charming.
At the end of his questioning, Aucker “GC Ranger” encountered the chest of Victor and the man without ball, JT. After Victor did his usual god father type threat, JT escorted Aucker “GC Ranger” into the hallway where he gave him a threat or two of his own.
After getting debowed twice in a row, Aucker “GC Ranger” received a call from Danny Boy who wanted to meet him at Jimmy’s Bar. At Jimmy’s, Daniel told the GC Ranger everything. However, Aucker “GC Ranger” believed there was more to the story. His detective senses told him not to believe a word from these crazy kids and that pup named Scooby Doo. I couldn’t even be mad at the GC Ranger. The Scoobsters do have an impressive criminal record. I’m talking about murder, several counts of attempted murder, arson, armed robbery, stealing money (a more technical name escapes me at the moment), and the list goes on. I guess it wouldn’t take too much to be suspicious of the Scoobsters, especially Daniel, if you already know that his fingerprints were found on the murder weapon.
Poor Scoobesters. Someone is trying to frame them. The briefcase of money was planted at Crimson Lights.
Now this has nothing to do with the show, but I got this awesome screencap of the most spectacular facial expression and I had to do something with it. Please enjoy.
Back at the hospital, Nikki “Nosey” Newman was all over the “Night at the Mansion” case. But let’s take a step back to see what happened at the ranch before Nikki summoned Victor to the hopital.
Victor arrived at the ranch, to be greeted by Adam. Ashley soon came down the stairs to greet Victor as well.
After Ashley’s “I Had A Dream” speech, is when Victor left to go to the hospital. During Victor’s absence, Ashley and Adam shared a bonding moment over her NotBaby. Apparently, Ashley felt her NotBaby kick.
This prompted Adam to call his special doctor friend over. Adam explained the sitation to Dr. Taylor. Dr. Taylor told Adam that Ashley was experiencing symptoms of a hysterical pregnancy. Adam wanted to know what they should do. Dr. Taylor let Adam know that he had personal problem on that one. While they talked, Ashley walked in on them. She was suprised to see the good ole doc. In true sleeze fashion Dr. Taylor had a quick recovery. He told Ashley that he is there for a follow-up. Nice save.
Ashley said that she wants Dr. Taylor to meet Victor. Of course the good doctor doesn’t want to. Victor could ruin him. Adam had to remind the good doctor that he could ruin him as well. It must suck to be stuck between a rock and a hard place.
At the hospital, Nikki informed Victor about her creepy night at the mansion. Nikki told Vic that Adam was lying about where Ashley was, told the staff to go home and that some random doctor came to check on Ashley and the baby. After hearing all this Victor had to investigate the situation for himself.
Back at the ranch, Victor asked Ashley and Adam about what happened the night he was gone. Ashley told him about the “dream” again and that Adam found a doctor to check her and the NotBaby out. Victor wanted to know why Rat Weave (read: Olivia) was not called and Ashley offers up some kind of explanation. Poor Ashley even told Victor about the not kick from her NotBaby.
Once Ashley was gone, Victor did his usual. He told Adam that he does not want him in the house alone with Ashley in the house, Adam shouldn’t tell the help to go home, and there was some more but all I heard was mumble, mumble, mumble. Victor left the room thinking he gave Adam a good talking to, but Adam may have more in his bag-o-tricks.
Paul “Can’t Solve a Case” Williams was piecing together the puzzle of the “Harpo…Who Dis Woman” case. He began his day at the GCAC with Heather.
They talked about Paul’s latest trip to the po-po station. Paul was there because Mary Jane posted those stalking charges. Don’t mess with MJ y’all. It is being more and more obvious that if she says she is going to do something, she is going to follow through.
As Paul and Heather continued to have a boring conversation, MJ popped up. This was not the usual family visit. MJ and her henchman served Paul with a temporary restaining order. Because Paul cannot be within 500 ft of MJ, his daddy/daughter dinner was cur short. Paul headed to the hospital and Heather fell back whatever hole she has been hiding in.
At the hospital, Paul checked on Vicki and talked to Nikki and Victor.
And of course Paul had to bring up what happened with MJ (she is giving him a s/l and some screen time after all). After leaving the hospital, Nikki and Paul head to the CL where Paul continued to talk about MJ.
Back at the GCAC, MJ was in her room, making her list and checking it twice. Sharin, Big Red, and Victor have made the list, but she couldn’t bring herself to add Paul to the list. I guess blood is thicker than water.
Next…
noAngle (Liam, Mac and Kate) appear to be talking about Sharin
Sharin and Nick talk about love all up in Jack’s house while he listens
And more MJ…

Every episode featuring MJ is a gift! CSI LOL Al. Your grasp of MAB's knockoff's is amazing. Great job…per usual!
